Amateur:
Started playing in 1972 in Swaziland with a complete mixed bag of cut down clubs that rattled! Not quite hickery shafts!

Who was the biggest influence on your golf? Seve, he was a magician with a golf ball.

Sporting Heroes: Seve, Ernie and George Best.

Amateur Golfing Achievements:
Played in the Open Championship in 1989 at Royal Troon. Vijay Singh was two shots behind me in Qualifying (if only I was two pounds behind him in career earnings)!!
Devon Amateur Champion, Devon Salver runner-up, West of England runner-up, member of winning English County Championship team. Numerous course records.

Professional Career: Assistant at Exeter G&CC 1990-1994.
Head Pro at Taunton & Pickeridge 1994-2005.
Head Pro at Exeter G&CC 2005 to present.

Professional Achievements:

Course Records: Most notable being the unofficial record at Taunton & Pickeridge of 58. (See card on the right).
Also Cirencester GC record holder.
